Head of Sales
We are looking for an exceptional and experienced Head of Sales to work with middle market companies that are looking to activate their sustainability journey and upgrade their sustainability performance.

Sales Execution:
- Drive the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals, ensuring achievement of sales targets and revenue goals.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and negotiations to convert prospects into customers.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Serve as the commercial contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer retention.
Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives.
- Identify and target key markets and customer segments to maximize sales potential.
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
- Proactively identify, engage, and nurture potential customers through various channels including SEM, email campaigns and partner network.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and renewal or .
Sales Reporting:
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for senior management.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and services teams to ensure a cohesive approach to achieving company goals.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
Customer & Product Feedback Loop:
- Gather and relay customer feedback to internal teams to continuously improve the product and customer experience.
- Advocate for customers within the organization, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
Product Intelligence:
- Provide insights and feedback to the product development team to enhance the company's offerings.
What you bring:
Education and Experience:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Professional Experience: 5+ years of quota carrying sales experience with at least 2 years in a sales leadership role at early-stage software or tech-enabled-consulting companies.
Skills and Competencies:
- Sales Expertise: Proven track record of B-to-B SaaS or Tech-enabled services sales success. Full Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective sales plans.
- Customer Focus: Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate those needs into sales opportunities. Commitment to delivering a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Leadership and Management: Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience in mentoring and developing sales teams. Ability to inspire and motivate a team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Sustainability Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of Climate, Sustainability and ESG markets, including key competitors and market trends.
