ESG Program Manager, AWS Sustainability

As part of this responsibility, we ensure AWS can meet current and emerging ESG reporting regulations such as CSRD, SEC, ISSB, TCFD, etc.
The role of ESG program manager will be to support the AWS ESG team to ensure we can meet ESG reporting regulations.
Key job responsibilities
- Create operational metrics, track and manage delivery timelines, and communicate program status to internal stakeholders
- Develop, build and maintain positive relationships with internal partner teams
- Support supplier engagements to progress transparency and performance objective
- Engage cross-functionally to support team goals in a scalable way
- Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment, seeking to understand business problems, scaling opportunities and business partner decisions

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- 3+ Experience in sustainability, ESG or supply chain procurement
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
