Key Responsibilities
- Define, manage, and execute the ESG product roadmap, ensuring alignment with the organization’s ESG goals and communicating priorities effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Prioritize and manage the ESG product backlog, consistently communicating updates and decisions in clear, non-technical language for business leaders and other stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary liaison for ESG product development, gathering requirements from diverse stakeholders and translating them into actionable tasks for technical teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, compliance, and operations, to deliver ESG solutions and initiatives.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for ESG impact, presenting findings in reports and dashboards that resonate with non-technical and technical audiences alike.
- Conduct ongoing market research and analysis on ESG trends and innovations, sharing insights with senior management to inform strategic decision-making.
- Actively promote ESG practices within the organization, fostering a culture of sustainability and governance.
- QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Business, Sustainability, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role with a focus on ESG, sustainability, or governance.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively, including senior leadership.
- Proven knowledge of ESG principles, regulatory frameworks, and best practices within the industry.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to tailor reporting and presentations for a diverse audience.
- Certification in Product Ownership or Agile methodologies (e.g., CSPO, SAFe) is a plus.
- Preferred SkillsExperience with data analytics and ESG reporting tools, with the ability to distill data insights into clear, non-technical language.
- Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD) and best practices for stakeholder communication.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with a demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional alignment on ESG goals.
