ESG Compliance Analyst

Overview
The ESG Trade Compliance Analyst will be responsible for the upstream supply chain data analysis, focusing on building transparency and responsible supply chains. Advise internal stakeholders on supply chain risks and human rights impacts, supporting compliance and regulatory requirements.
This position will navigate and understand complex government regulations, providing guidance and direction to internal and external business partners. This position will collaborate with other members of the Trade Compliance team, Foot Locker Divisions and Departments to communicate and mitigate trade risk.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain social responsibility activities in accordance with Foot Locker policies, procedures, and controls.
- Maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reporting to ensure risk identification and compliance with Foot Locker’s supply chain risk assessment framework, building transparent and responsible supply chains.
- Partner with internal stakeholders on audit & screening findings, assessing trade risk, threats, and impact.
- Support trade compliance in developing and administering effective trade compliance training as required throughout the region and organization.
- Support the trade compliance team in upstream supply chain mapping requirements, traceability documentation review and visibility.
- Liaise with external partners and internal stakeholders to collect, conduct research, and analyze supply chain risk data, including international child labor, forced labor and human trafficking issues.
- Using advanced knowledge and understanding of government regulations to provide guidance on complex imports, exports, and other government agency requirements.
- Support internal, external, and government-directed audits, assessment, and regulation.
- Create reports, write business correspondence, and SOPs to requested business partners.
- Effectively communicate information and respond to questions from peers, colleagues, and business partners.
- Using independent judgment, make decisions involving ingenuity, initiative, and judgement regarding trade compliance procedures.
- Assist in preparation of Customs requests and inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (3-5 years’ experience) International Business/Regulatory Compliance experience
- Preferred Customs Broker License or other Customs / Trade certification.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and benchmarking best practices.
- Possess technical expertise in aspects of import/export management: including traceability documentation review, global human right legislation, and social responsibility standards.
- Thorough knowledge of global trade regulations, especially in the textile, wearing apparel, and footwear industries.
- Ability to acquire new skills and conduct research independently.

Benefits
This is a salaried position paid monthly. The anticipated annual compensation range for this role is $60k - $68k / year; however, qualifications and experience will be considered.
